You and your perfect date are waiting outside the movie theater to buy tickets to the fantastic new movie "G Lo: The Untold Story", filmed entirely on location at Notre Dame. As you walk towards the ticket booth, you see a number of other people waiting as well. Seeing that they form a line, you and your date go to the end of the line. You remark it seems a short wait and you won't be "in line" for long. Your date disagrees, insisting you are both standing "on line" and will be buying tickets soon. A heated debate ensues, until finally your date walks off in a huff, leaving you feeling stupid and still without an answer to the in/on line question.
